Sometime you install new software, then some search engines (like Babylon, Delta etc) also install with these software and set as a default search engine.So if you want to change or remove your default search engine to Google, follow these simple steps:
1. Go to Google Chrome setting as show as screen shot:
2. If you want to change the default search engine back to Google then select it from the drop down -> Click on Manage search engines button -> set Google as a default one.Here is the screen shot:
3. If you want to remove other search engines(like Babylon) just follow step 2 and select Babylon and click at cross on rightmost side to remove it.Here is screen shot.
4. Now in chrome Settings itself go to On startup section, select the Open a specific or set of pages option and click to Set pages link. Now remove other search engine (like Babylon ) from this list.Here is the screen shots:
5. At last type www.google.com in Add a new page's text box. Now restart the Chrome.
Easily customize Chrome's search engines: Open settings, manage search engines, and remove or modify unwanted ones like Babylon and Delta.

To remove or change search engines in Chrome, follow these steps:
ReplyDeleteOpen Chrome Settings:
Click on the three vertical dots in the top-right corner of Chrome to open the menu.
Select "Settings" from the dropdown menu.
Manage Search Engines:
In the Settings menu, scroll down to find the "Search engine" section.
Click on "Search engine" to open the search engine settings.
Remove Unwanted Search Engines:
Under the "Search engine used in the address bar" section, you'll see a list of search engines.
Hover over the search engine you want to remove and click on the three dots that appear.
Select "Remove from list" to remove the unwanted search engine.
Add or Change Search Engines:
If you want to add a new search engine or change the default one, click on "Manage search engines".
Here you can add a new search engine by clicking on "Add" and entering its name, keyword, and URL.
You can also set your preferred search engine as default by clicking on
